Komponenta ASP Browser Capabilities
Komponenta ASP Browser Capabilities vytvoří objekt BrowserType, který určuje typ, možnosti a číslo verze prohlížeče návštěvníka.
Když se prohlížeč připojí k serveru, je na server odeslána také hlavička User Agent. Tato hlavička obsahuje informace o prohlížeči.
Objekt BrowserType porovnává informace v záhlaví s informacemi v souboru na serveru s názvem "Browscap.ini".
Pokud existuje shoda mezi typem prohlížeče a číslem verze v záhlaví a informacemi v souboru "Browscap.ini", lze k výpisu vlastností odpovídajícího prohlížeče použít objekt BrowserType. Pokud v souboru Browscap.ini neexistuje žádná shoda pro typ prohlížeče a číslo verze, nastaví každou vlastnost na "NEZNÁMÝ".
