Definice a použití

Vlastnost defaultValue nastavuje nebo vrací výchozí hodnotu vyhledávacího pole.

Poznámka: Výchozí hodnota je hodnota zadaná v atributu hodnoty HTML .

Rozdíl mezi vlastností defaultValue a value je v tom, že defaultValue obsahuje výchozí hodnotu, zatímco value obsahuje aktuální hodnotu po provedení některých změn. Pokud nedojde k žádným změnám, defaultValue a value jsou stejné (viz "Další příklady" níže).

Vlastnost defaultValue je užitečná, když chcete zjistit, zda se obsah vyhledávacího pole změnil.
